GOOD AT TEACHING SKATING? WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU!

The Anchorage Skate Club is looking for motivated, enthusiastic skating instructors for our programs beginning in late November and continuing to early March.

The ideal candidate will excel at working with young people in an outdoor environment, and have good basic ice skating skills. First aid certification, coaching or skating instructional certification (any type) would be considered an asset.

Instructors need to have their own transportation, a valid and current drivers license and be able to function effectively and cooperatively as part of an instructional team in an outdoor winter teaching environment. Some basic computer skills are recommended but not required.

Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check prior to employment. Position entails approximately 2 hours(some programs may be longer), 2-5 days/wk at various times (not necessarily continuously) and multiple locations, and does require some lifting and walking on icy and slippery surfaces.

Please forward your resume, a brief biography and contact information to us at anchorageskateclubinstructors@gmail.com. Only candidates selected for interviews will be contacted. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis – apply now!
